The customer can make payments quickly, securely, and conveniently through the PayJoy app or authorized payment channels. This functionality ensures each transaction is recorded correctly and offers various payment options to fit the user's needs.
How to Make a Payment
You can make your payment directly from the PayJoy app by tapping the "Make Payment" option. You'll automatically be redirected to your preferred payment app. In the Philippines, the accepted payment options are:
- GCash
- PayMaya
- QR Payment
If your bank account is linked, you can also use it to complete your payment directly.
If the main payment method (DLOCAL) is down or temporarily unavailable, you can use the alternative method QR PH, which allows you to scan a QR code to complete your transaction.
How Long Does It Take for My Payment to Reflect?
Payments are generally posted instantly (in real time). However, in some cases, it may take 3 to 5 minutes for the system to update your account.
What Should I Do If I Made a Payment and It's Not Showing in My Account?
There are times when payments may not reflect immediately. Depending on the payment method, the delay could be due to:
- DLOCAL payments: May experience a 24–48-hour delay due to external system issues.
- QR PH payments: Delays can happen if you made the payment but did not upload your payment proof using the provided link.
⚠️ Note: Security Bank is no longer an available payment option. We now only accept payments via GCash, PayMaya, and QR Payment.
If your payment is already posted in the system but your device remains locked, please check your internet connection. This may occur if you don't have WiFi or mobile data. Simply connect to a stable WiFi network or ensure you have mobile data so your device can sync with the PayJoy server.
Can I Change My Payment Date?
The system does not allow manual changes to the payment date. However, you can adjust your payment frequency, for example:
- If you usually pay weekly (e.g., ₱500), you can pay the full monthly amount (e.g., ₱2000) in advance to keep your device unlocked for the entire month.
- You can switch back to the weekly schedule anytime if needed.
What Happens If I Don't Make My Payment by the Due Date?
If you miss your payment due date, your device will automatically lock. However, you will still have access to the PayJoy app to:
- Request support or extensions,
- Contact customer service,
- Use emergency options available for special cases.
What If I Don't Have Enough Funds?
If you don't have enough funds, you can request a payment extension directly through the PayJoy app. Approval will depend on your eligibility and situation. In cases of emergencies or extraordinary events (such as natural disasters), a higher-level team may authorize a special extension.
